My state VS your state
59I recently wrote a hub about politics and political parties over this past weekend. In it, I wrote my opinion on the politics and political parties of the state I live in, which happens to be Michigan. When I checked my e mail this morning, I found a message in my e mail box from some idiot who started in with the whole second grade, "my state is better then yours" crap.Â
I decided to write this hub because in any of my published articles, no reader will ever find me attacking anyone personally or saying the state I live in is better then anyone else's. Yes, I do love my state, (Michigan). I have lived here all of my life, with the exception of my time spent in the US Military, and I can't ever see myself ever moving to another part of the country. I love the forests in the UP and the northern section of the LP. I love going to the lakeshore and seeing all that water. I love to be out in the woods on opening morning of deer season and feeling that excitement that a person gets when they see a nice deer coming in. I love feeling the sun on the first warm day in the springtime, and feeling the cool breeze on the first cool day in the fall.
Because I love all those things about my state, there are those idiots out there who will assume that I must love the political decisions made by the law makers in Lansing, and that I have no right to complain because those same law makers are a bunch of idiotic buffoons who would have trouble finding thier asses with both hands, a flashlight, a map, and a GPS unit. In my opinion, it is more the fault of mudslinging idiots like the moron who wants to play the second grade "mine is better then yours" playground games then it is of the ordinary working class folks who are having to deal with the fallout of bad business decisions while the same SOBs are getting bonuses and praise for cleaning up the mess they helped to make.
I know there are some folks out there who do not agree with my political take on things. That is fine with me. In fact, disagreement is part of what gets things moving for real and lasting change. What I cannot stand, and will not tolerate, is idiotic comments from some moron who refuses to articulate his or her opinion in an intelligent way and resorts to the same kind of crap I remember from grade school.
